"Only One Point"
by Panuwat Hoonbamrung (Neung) & Wittaya Pised (Taem)

The Exhibition title, "Only One Point" stems from the artist’s names, "Neung" and "Taem" meaning "One Point".

Neung explains: "I feel that I can do no wrong act when I create art; indeed, all art makes a positive contribution as it makes a connection with someone, somewhere". Through his use of bold, primary colours with the introduction of copper and sometimes provocative subject matter, Neung says that his aim is to realise his visions, while producing works for people to share and enjoy.

Taem’s work comes straight from his heart. His colours reflect the many and subtle images of his native country, mirroring the simplicity of his people, and the authenticity of his commitment to Lord Buddha. His boyhood and life as the son of a farmer, working student, and developing artist inspires him to use simple everyday materials, such as corrugated iron that others count as useless and is one of his most outstanding original contributions to Thai art. The lotus that so inspires this self taught artist continues to shape and define the character of his work and marks it most definitely as a "Wittaya Pised" art piece.

This Exhibition is one not to be missed, especially for lovers and collectors of Thai Contemporary Art.
